Richmond, CA, March 2, 2009 - EMPATH Consulting has hired Kathleen Lynam, RN, MPA, CNAA, BC as Vice President. In this position, Kathleen will hold a leadership role in the company helping to provide strategic direction and will have primary responsibility as a Project Manager leading an engagement at a client's site in the Northeast region of the country.

She has been involved in dozens of redesign projects, having led many of them as Program Manager. She has also held positions as a Rehabilitation Clinician and Nurse Manager on med-surgical units. Prior to joining EMPATH, Kathleen's most recent role was that of Vice President for Patient Care Services and Chief Nurse Executive at Good Samaritan Hospital, Suffern, NY. In that position, Kathleen was involved in numerous enterprise-wide programs and helped the hospital achieve accolades for excellence in operational management and customer service. She has also worked at Bergen Regional Medical Center, Paramus, NJ serving as Vice President - Acute and Ambulatory Services, as well as Chief Nurse Executive.
